Jason George, Esq.

Jason George is a Partner at Washington George Volandes PLLC, where he focuses on real estate law. He represents buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions, including cooperative and condominium apartments, mixed‑use buildings, and multi‑unit properties. He also negotiates commercial leases for office, retail, medical, restaurant, and hospitality clients. In recent years, Jason has helped close transactions totaling hundreds of millions of dollars for individuals, investors, funds, and corporations, and he serves as outside general counsel to small and mid‑sized businesses.

In his business law practice Jason represents small and medium-sized businesses, other corporate entities and individuals in a variety of transactions and as outside general counsel.

Before entering private practice, Jason worked in corporate law at international firms in New York and London and later served as legal counsel for a multibillion‑dollar private equity fund. His background gives him a practical, business‑minded approach that clients value in complex or fast‑moving matters.

Jason takes his clients’ work seriously but not himself. He enjoys traveling, learning languages, reading historical fiction, and can often be found biking to meetings around the city. A former Fulbright Scholar who has lived, studied, or worked in five countries, he now proudly calls New York City home, where he lives with his wife, daughter, and son.
